Dr H F Holland FRCAConsultant AnaesthetistGMC number - 2828400 Dr Hilary Holland joined the Medical Specialist Group as a Consultant Anaesthetist in April 2004. She was born and educated in Nottinghamshire and graduated from Nottingham University Medical School in 1983, having obtained a first class degree in Medical Sciences in addition to her medical qualification. Dr Holland began her post-graduate training in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care in the Nottingham hospitals and later worked in Milton Keynes, Northampton and Oxford, developing special interests in anaesthesia for maternity patients and eye surgery along the way. She became a Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists in 1992 and is on the GMC Specialist Register. She is a member of the Obstetric Anaesthetists' Association. For 7 years before coming to Guernsey, Dr Holland worked as a Consultant Anaesthetist at Hinchingbrooke Hospital in Huntingdon, where she also held the post of Clinical Director for Theatre and Critical Care services. She has wide experience of all aspects of anaesthesia and intensive care in a district hospital. Dr Holland is married with 3 children. Outside medicine, her interests include wildlife (especially birds), cycling and diving. |
