Mr Joslin is one of three orthopaedic surgeons working at the Medical Specialist Group.

He was born in Kent in 1971, educated at Dover Grammar School and studied medicine at the University of Bristol, graduating in 1995.

Post-graduate training included demonstrating anatomy at the University of Leicester before basic surgical training in the Wessex region. He spent a year undertaking research into bone healing in Bristol prior to entering orthopaedic higher surgical training on the South-West rotation. The final two years were largely concentrated on surgery of the shoulder and upper limb. After completing training he undertook a foot and ankle fellowship at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital. He gained his Certificate of Completion of Training in July 2007 and is on the Specialist Register.

Mr Joslin maintains an active interest in research, having presented work at national and international meetings, as well as giving an interview for Radio 4, and publishing papers in the orthopaedic literature. He is a member of the British Orthopaedic Association and British Trauma Society.

He is married to Lucy, a GP, who grew up in Guernsey, and they have two young children and are expecting their third. Any spare time is taken up with sailing, windsurfing, playing the cello and piano, and maintaining a classic MGB.
